By registering an account, downloading the game client, or using any service provided through l2kain.net or its subdomains, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

To process purchases of Kain Coins and deliver digital items to your account.

L2Kain does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Your data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

✅Anti-cheat data (HWID, processes) is stored only on servers owned and operated by L2Kain. It is never shared with third parties, advertisers, or other game servers.

Data Security

L2Kain implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss, or destruction. These include:

Encrypted storage of passwords (hashed, never stored in plain text)
HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
Access controls limiting which staff members can access personal data
Regular security reviews of our infrastructure and game servers

⚠️While we take every reasonable precaution, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by GDPR within 72 hours of becoming aware.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

Account Data — Retained for the lifetime of your account plus 12 months after deletion, for dispute resolution and legal compliance.
Payment Records — Retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.
Anti-Cheat Logs — Retained for 24 months to detect repeated violations across server seasons.
Analytics Data — Retained in anonymised, aggregated form with no expiry. Personally identifiable session data is deleted after 26 months.
Support Communications — Retained for 12 months after ticket closure.

⚖️L2Kain reserves the right to close any game account and delete all related data belonging to players who withdraw consent for anti-cheat data collection, as this is a mandatory requirement to play on our servers.

📜By registering an account, downloading the game client, or using any L2Kain service, you fully accept all terms and conditions set out in this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must stop using our services immediately.

Definitions

Operator / L2Kain — The right holder of the internet portal l2kain.net. Provides administration, maintenance, and access to the portal and its services.
User / Player — An individual visiting or using l2kain.net, its subdomains, or the game servers. A registered user has completed account creation and holds an active account.
Portal / Website — The internet platform available at https://l2kain.net and all its subdomains (cp.l2kain.net, board.l2kain.net, etc.).
Services — All features and services provided by L2Kain, including but not limited to website access, game server access, forums, and streams.
Additional Paid Services — Optional premium features purchased using Kain Coins, including cosmetic skins, titles, and premium packs. These are not required to play.
Account — A password-protected area of the portal containing information about the registered user, accessible via the control panel at cp.l2kain.net.

Subject of Agreement

L2Kain grants access to its Portal, Services, and Additional Paid Services to an unlimited number of persons under the terms of this Agreement. The User is aware that the main purpose of L2Kain is entertainment only and is in no way related to, connected with, or associated with gambling.

The basic Services (website access, game server access, forum participation) are provided free of charge. Certain premium features require voluntary payment of Kain Coins. The use of any paid features is entirely optional and does not affect a player's ability to participate in gameplay.

Entry into Force

This Agreement enters into force from the moment the User accepts it by registering an account on l2kain.net. Acceptance means full and unconditional agreement with all terms, conditions, and annexes of this Agreement.

If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you must immediately stop using the Portal and its services. L2Kain is not required to verify the accuracy of information provided during registration, but reserves the right to request confirmation at any time.

This Agreement may be amended by L2Kain at any time without prior notice. Users are responsible for regularly reviewing the current version of this Agreement on the website.

User Rights

In accordance with this Agreement, the User has the right to:

Use the Portal and game servers for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Use all Services and Additional Paid Services provided by L2Kain.
Contact technical support via Forum, Discord, or email with questions or issues.
Use the basic Services free of charge, excluding Additional Paid Services.
Request account deletion and data erasure in accordance with GDPR (see Privacy Policy).

User Obligations

By using L2Kain services, the User agrees to:

Provide accurate, truthful information during account registration.
Take all necessary measures to maintain the security of their account. Do not share your login credentials with any third party.
Notify L2Kain immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any security breach.
Follow all instructions and directions issued by Operators and Game Masters within the Portal and game servers.
Comply fully and without limitation with all conditions of this Agreement.
Use the Portal for entertainment purposes only, without deriving commercial benefit.

Prohibited Actions

While using L2Kain services, the User must not:

Exploit bugs or cheats — Exploit errors in the website or game client, gain unauthorised database access, or modify the game's program code.
Use third-party software — Use bots, automation tools, aimbots, speedhacks, or any software giving an unfair advantage over other players. Detection results in immediate permanent ban of all associated accounts.
Multi-boxing / Multi-account — Register or use more than one account from the same device or IP address. Violations are classified as "MultiAccount" and result in all associated accounts being banned without refund of any purchased services.
Real Money Trading (RMT) — Buying, selling, or trading in-game characters, items, accounts, or Adena for real-world currency.
Harassment & toxic behaviour — Use abusive, threatening, racist, or discriminatory language toward other players, staff, or in public channels.
Advertising — Advertise other servers, products, or services not related to L2Kain without prior written permission from the Operator.
Server disruption — Attempt to intercept server data, perform DDoS attacks, or otherwise disrupt normal server operation.
Account sharing — Share account credentials with others. Each player is solely responsible for all activity on their account.

⚠️Violations of these rules may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent banning of all associated accounts — without compensation for any purchased Kain Coins or services. L2Kain's decision is final.

Operator Rights

L2Kain reserves the right to:

Expand, modify, suspend, or terminate any Service or Additional Paid Service at any time without prior notice.
Manage all processes on the Portal at its sole discretion.
Apply sanctions — including temporary or permanent account bans — for violations of this Agreement.
Modify, edit, or delete any user-submitted content on the Portal.
Track and store identification and statistical information about users for security and analytics purposes.
Send users technical, administrative, and service-related communications.
Modify this Agreement at any time, with changes taking effect immediately upon publication.

Additional Paid Services (Kain Coins)

Purchasing Kain Coins grants you access to digital currency usable exclusively for in-game cosmetic purchases and premium features within L2Kain servers. By purchasing Kain Coins, you acknowledge that:

Kain Coins are non-transferable and exclusive to the L2Kain platform.
Kain Coins have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real currency.
Paid services are not a prerequisite for accessing or participating in gameplay.
All purchases are final once the goods are delivered to your account, except where otherwise specified in the Refund Policy below.

Refund Policy

L2Kain offers refunds under the following specific circumstances:

Non-delivery — If purchased Kain Coins or items are not credited to your account within 24 hours of confirmed payment, you are entitled to a full refund or redelivery.
Defective purchase — If a purchased item or service is demonstrably broken or non-functional and cannot be resolved by our support team.
Fraudulent transaction — If a purchase was made through unauthorised use of a payment method. L2Kain reserves the right to revoke any balance or items granted through fraudulent payments.

⚠️Refunds are not available once Kain Coins have been successfully used for in-game purchases. Refunds are also not available in cases of account bans due to violations of this Agreement, regardless of the remaining Kain Coin balance.

To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] or via the Forum support ticket system within 14 days of the purchase date. L2Kain will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method or as an alternative Kain Coins credit.

Limitation of Liability

L2Kain shall not be liable for:

Any damage caused to personal data or devices in connection with using the Portal or game client.
Direct or indirect losses arising from inability to access the Portal, third-party conduct, or unauthorised access to personal data.
Loss of in-game items, characters, or currency resulting from account bans, server maintenance, or wilful game resets.
The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information posted on the Forum by other users.
Interruptions, errors, or delays in Portal or server performance.

The User uses all L2Kain services voluntarily, at their own risk, and with full understanding of the nature of the service as entertainment.

Modifications to the Agreement

L2Kain reserves the right to change, supplement, or replace this Agreement at any time without prior notification. Any changes take effect immediately upon publication on this page. It is the User's responsibility to regularly check this page for updates. Continued use of any L2Kain service after changes are published constitutes full acceptance of the revised Agreement.
